Madiba Fever Hits Mangaung

As the world celebrated the life of Nelson Mandela, on 18 July, Mangaung Metro was also abuzz with Mandela Day activities, celebrating what would have been Madiba’s 100th birthday. The city’s first resident Cllr Olly Mlamleli changed the lives of two elderly women and their families when she handed over two fully furnished houses. This was part of the Mayor’s commemoration of Mandela Day. Mlamleli spent her day visiting different parts of the city to see how she can make a difference in someone’s life.
