Notice: Water Supply Interruption (36 Hours)

Notice is hereby given that Mangaung Metro will be going through its yearly reservoir cleaning programme. This is an operational programme with the purpose of ensuring that we provide quality water to the community of Mangaung at all times. During this operation of cleaning main reservoirs in the city, there could be interruptions and restricted water supply to communities.

The interruptions will take place as follows:

Date: 17 October 2018 – 18 October 2018
Duration: 06h00 (17/10/18) until 18h00 (18/10/18) – 36 HOURS
Trajectory: Longridge Reservoir maintenance. The water supply will be restricted and mainly high-lying areas will be affected by pressure.

Affected areas are: Phahameng, Phase 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, Grassland, Estoire, Phelindaba, Bloemspruit Area and Heidedal.

All residents, businesses, schools and consumers in the affected areas are kindly requested to make the necessary arrangements for gathering water for cooking, washing, cleaning, etc for that period.

Water Tankers will be provided as and when required. Mangaung Metro would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused.
