Turning Trash into Cash

The Mangaung Metro’s Waste Management public education and awareness unit engaged with waste pickers from across the city on some of the challenges they are faced with and how they can best divert waste from the landfill sites. The workshop which was hosted with the Glass Recycling company representatives which spoke to the waste pickers on issues of compliance and how they can grow their businesses.
