PUBLIC NOTICE: DRAFTS INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT PLAN (IDP) 2022/2027, SECTORAL PLANS, SPATIAL DEVELOPMENT FRAMEWORK, THE MTREF BUDGET 2022/2023 – 2024/25 AND BUDGET RELATED POLICIES

Chapter 5 of Municipal System Act, 2000 (Act 32 of 2000), provides that a municipal council must within a prescribed period after the start of its elected term, adopt a single, inclusive, and strategic plan for the development of the municipality which amongst other links, integrates and coordinate plans and takes into account proposals for the development of the municipality, to mention but a few.

Notice is hereby given that the Draft Integrated Development Plan 2021/2022, Sectoral Plans, Spatial Development Framework, Draft MTREF Budget 2022/2023 – 2024/25 and Draft Budget Related Policies for the Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality were noted by the Council on Thursday, March 31, 2022 and documents are available at www.mangaung.co.za for all interested parties and local communities for a period of 21 days. [ CLOSING DATE: 5 MAY 2022 ] Moreover, the draft documents are available in the following areas:

  • Bloemfontein: CBD Main Library, Bainsvlei Library (Langenhoven Park), Fichardt Park Library, BP Leinaeng Library (Phahameng) Mangaung Library (Rockland), Trevor Barlow Library (Heidedal) and Lourierpark Library
  • Bloemfontein South: Leslie Monnanyane Building
  • Bloemfontein North: Information Cabin, Bram Fischer Building
  • Botshabelo: Botshabelo Library
  • Thaba Nchu: Selosesha Library
  • Soutpan: Municipal Offices
  • Dewetsdorp: Municipal Offices
  • Wepener: Municipal Offices
  • Van Stadensrus: Municipal Offices
